Les Robinson has spent almost all of his life surrounded by boats in one way or another. He had always had a dream to sail the open seas in an around-the-world voyage, but it wasn't until 2019 when the plan truly began to come into fruition.
Les and his wife found a 1979 cobra sailboat for sale that was structurally sound, but was in dire need of some care and attention. After their offer was accepted, they set to work rebuilding the boat, much of which happened during the heights of the COVID-19 pandemic.
