At Lynch Motor Company, we have been pioneers in the design and manufacture of electric motors and drive systems for more than 30 years. With our passion for renewable energy, we have developed an engine that is suitable for a variety of applications including marine, vehicles, industrial, traction, robotics and special effects with a more sustainable future in mind.
The Lynch Electric Motor is an axial gapped, DC pancake brushed motor. They come in five different sizes designed to generate movement with different levels of power, torque and speed. All our motors are permanent magnet motors which also enable them to be used as a generator.
All our electric DC motors are classed as "Ultra Safe" making them easy for our customer to install with confidence. We work within the European Union's (EU) low voltage directive to ensure that the electric motors we manufacture and distribute around the world are fixed within the voltage limit.
Advantages of Electric Motors
-
Highly EfficientThick conductors of low resistance and close coupling with magnetic field enables increases efficiency in the Lynch Electric Motor
-
High power at low speedHigh power and torque at low speed resulting from high magnetic flux acting on both sides of the armature
-
Highly reliableThousands of hours of brush life with our rugged construction process.
-
Constant speed 'shunt' characteristicThe Lynch Motor will not over-speed on no load
-
Simple electronic controlWith speed proportional to voltage, the maximum speed is self-regulating and regenerative breaking possible
-
Eco-friendlyNo fuel, no emissions, low noise - makes movement more pleasurable
