This pioneering solution is the perfect, cost-effective way to convert your boat to an electric hybrid. This hybrid drop-in solution is designed to fit around your current engine, providing a more cost effective conversion to hybrid power.
Works with your current engine, to create an electric hybrid system
The Red Snapper marine drive system only requires approximately 100mm space on the prop shaft, in order to be fitted. And, as far as we are aware, Red Snapper is the first and only drop in solution on the market that can work with your current engine, avoiding the cost of engine replacement.
Simple to install, it will fit most boats, including: sailing crafts, yachts, pleasure crafts and narrow boats (up to 75Hp and subject to engine bay size). Contact us to talk about your boat, we are always happy to advise with integrity.
Generates electric power needed to match typical cruising speeds
Red Snapper is Designed to generate the power needed to match the typical cruising speed of marine vehicles powered by a combustion engine, on inland, national and international waterways. Higher engine speeds are then expected to be available to help recharge the battery source when operating the electric motor in generator mode.

Manufactured at Lynch Motors Devon site, it complies to waterways legislation, is highly efficient, reliable and quiet to run. In fact, you can expect up to 93% efficiency from this 48volt system, which is available in 3 modes, so you get just the right solution for your boat.
