Regular servicing increases the life and efficient running of your electric motor and drive systems and will save you money and hassle in the future.
How often you should service your Service your electric motor is dependent on the amount of use and type of application, but as rule of thumb we suggest an annual service to be prudent for most. If you get in contact we will happily advise you on this, with reliable integrity!

What is included in a standard service?
We will advise on the right service for you, but our standard service includes:
- Complete strip down and clean of castings
- Bearing, shaft and band cover replacement
- Skim armature and check balance
- Re-assemble and test
Cost: £325 + VAT (if applicable)
For international customers sending motors in from overseas, we can advise on the best methods to save you time and money on postage and customs too. Caroline and Trevor are a font of knowledge on this subject, so be sure to call first!
Additional 3 month warranty issued with your service
Lynch electric motors come with a 2 year warranty as standard and servicing comes with a 3 month warranty too. This reflects the confidence we have in our motors and workmanship.
We keep you informed every step of the way. Formal findings are provided after an initial inspection of your motor. If any further work is required we make sure that we give you a comprehensive quote and gain your agreement, before we commence.
